Change the baby animals in the menagerie
It doesn't have to be done all at once. Gradually is better than never.
I propose that they add baby models for the babies instead of using the shrunk down adult models because it looks, in a word, stupid.
The black moas have actual chicks, which is nice, but they couldn't reskin those chicks for use for the other two moas?
Right now it looks unfinished/stupid/sloppy, take your pick.

Sure, they could have reskined the Black Moa Chick so it matches the other Moa Chicks. But unfortunately they didn't...
The other Baby models for each Animal seems fine to me.

At the very least, they could reskin the Black Moa Chick for the White Moa and regular Moa...

Skill balance>Babies.
Although the latter is slightly cuter.

Not even close to being a priority, but I love myself some baby animals and ain't holding out hope for balance at this late stage, so /signed. White and regular moa chicks at least would be awesome.

this is un-needed, they should concentrate on skill updates or fixing bugs instead.....
.... plus this let's us all have our own collection of minipets at the same time as actual pets

Having baby animals at all was an unexpected bonus.
While it would be nice, and I'll admit to also thinking that the chicks could be reskinned, it is so not a priority, and the artistic team is probably all busy on GW2.
Ehhh... we might be lucky and have one of the art team doing it because they feel like it. But it's pretty low on the scale of importance.

I like your idea, but making the existing models smaller is quick and easy, and why are you or another one fussed about how a models in area your not going to spend much time in looks anyhow?

No one said it was a priority, hence why I said they could do it in stages.
I'm not buying GW2 as they've shown no desire to finish this game after 4 years. I'm not signing myself up for that again.
And there is something wrong (ie: baby animals looking like adult versions, nature disagrees with you) so your argument was disproven before you even posted. Thanks for coming out though.
Anyways, did I think they would do this? No. Should they? Definitely.

Yes, because that is EXACTLY what this post is about. Having baby animals walking around with their adult counterparts is totally like starting a new character. Boy, you got me.
No one said you'd be taking the babies and leveling them up from cub stage to adulthood. This is just about the comsmetic babies in the menagerie that walk around serving no purpose other than looking "off" at the moment.
And, they'd have to start at level 0 for that to even come close.

Although I agree it's visually sloppy, it's not a very important issue.

Hm... let's see... wasting time making new models that are seen in a single place instead other stuff...
You got Moa Chicken, that should be enough.
Al other creatures have few differences when they are young, such as bigger eyes, bigger heads compared to the body, shorter legs...
If they were to make the baby animals available as miniatures like the Moa Chicken it would be different, though.
Otherwise it would a waste of time.

Not really sure what texmod can and can't do since I don't use it, but that's an idea.

What exactly isn't "finished"?
